Engineer II

The Engineer II assists Facilities Technician III and conducts minor to intermediate repairs and maintenance on plumbing, physical structure, electrical fixtures, machinery, heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, spa, kitchen and laundry equipment, using hand and power tools, electrician, and plumbing tools. Will complete work orders as assigned by supervisor; respond immediately to guest room maintenance requests, etc.; respond to emergencies; and perform necessary assignments to ensure guest and employee safety. This candidate will also back up loss prevention for emergency situations.

A successful candidate must have basic knowledge of electricity, plumbing, pool care, and hand power tools. Ability to work well with others. Ability to take direction and work unsupervised. Must possess excellent people skills, professional appearance, be friendly, courteous, and a team player, enjoy working with people; be well-dressed and groomed. A flexible schedule is required and must be able to work weekends and holidays.
